OK, so here is a great example of how fucking stupid and ignorant the gun control crowd is.

The gun on top is a military issue gun.  It fires a larger, faster round than gun #2 (even if it weren't a paintball gun).  But #2 is black and scary looking.  So there must not be any legitimate use for it.

Both guns do the same thing.  But #1 can kill you from farther away.  The difference is purely aesthetic.

As for the question posed, why not ask the millions of people who own and use guns like #2 and who never commit any crimes with them.  You'll get plenty of valid answers.

Yes, I've been calling people motherfuckers a lot lately.  If you take it personally, you are probably a motherfucker.  I may or may not love you anyway.

The least important election of my life (a message to my partisan friends)

All of you motherfuckers had better think about this.  This is not "the most important election of our lives".  It may well be the least important.  No matter who is elected, nothing will change significantly.  The Republican candidate could easily be the Democratic nominee with a few aesthetic changes to his positions.  And the incumbent has done nothing to distinguish himself from the awful policies of the previous administration that all you motherfuckers kept bitching about.  I am just shocked and saddened that so many people I usually think of as reasonable, intelligent people have fallen for all of the bullshit this time around.

So, new rule.  No one talks to me about the election in real life.  If you come to my house and start spouting some election related crap, I will ask you to leave.  If you persist, I will take you out back and shoot you.  So if anyone actually reads this, you have been warned.

And if you are considering voting for Obama or Romney, you should go fuck yourself, asshole.

The scale of things

It's a diagram of the solar  system with the size of all of the planets and the sun to scale, as well as the distances between them.  It is very rare that you see this drawn to scale (for obvious reasons if you look at it: the page is half a mile long!).  I think that the distances between the planets relative to their sizes will be surprising to a lot of people.
